Hotel Santa Prassede

“Excellent stay – highly recommended We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Santa Prassede. The location is fantastic, with easy access to almost everywhere in the city centre, which made sightseeing extremely convenient. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. We really appreciated the attention to detail: plenty of amenities were already provided, including shampoo, soap, earplugs, an eye mask, and even a razor. The bathroom was immaculate, with very clean and new toilet seats. A lovely bonus was the free snacks, cakes, and coffee available 24/7, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Last but not least, the hosts, Kristina and Luciano, were truly amazing and very hospitable. Kristina, in particular, was an absolute gem—kind, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about Rome and its history. She gave us excellent advice that helped us make the most of our days in the city. We would definitely stay here again if travelling to Rome and highly recommend it to others.”

“- Genuinely heartfelt service and excellent accommodation - Hotel Santa Prassede is truly a "hidden gem" in Rome! The hotel was just a short walk from Termini Station (about 700 meters), and very close to the wonderful and beautiful Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore. All the major attractions were easily accessible on foot (and the metro and bus lines worked well too, of course). The hotel staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. I was also pleasantly surprised by how peacefully I slept through the night. The bed was truly comfortable, and despite the hotel’s central location, it was very peaceful. Being on a side street and having good soundproofing meant that street noises (or any others) didn’t disturb me during my stay. The room was cozy, tastefully decorated, and the cleaning was exceptionally thorough - first-class. The attention to detail was evident in the little things. This hotel offered far more value for money than I could have ever hoped for - it was one of the foundations of my successful visit to Rome, a magnificent city brimming with history, sights, and experiences. I’m truly grateful to the wonderful staff for their hospitality, thoughtfulness, advice, and kindness. “Stayed here for 4 nights, and will strongly recommend this place to anyone for a stay in Rome. Location is central with easy access to other parts of the city with public transportation. The hospitality was top-notch. The people at the reception (sorry I forgot to get your names) were incredibly warm and welcoming. When the air conditioner wasn't working in our room, they immediately moved us to another available room. Both rooms were nice and clean and came with many amenities (including earplugs for traffic noise if you prefer your windows open). Housekeeping was excellent, both in the room and in common areas.”

“I had a truly great experience here. I arrived late at night due to an issue at home and had nowhere else to stay. Cristina was incredibly kind and helpful: there happened to be a last-minute cancellation, and she managed to arrange a room for us. We even had a lovely conversation while sorting everything out. They also provided thoughtful touches throughout the stay. We received water upon arrival, and in the morning there was a generous breakfast with coffee, yoghurt, muesli, and sweets. The room was very well equipped, with everything you might need, including air conditioning, toiletries, a razor, and even a toothbrush and toothpaste. In the morning, Cristina took the time to talk with me about my situation and kindly shared her number in case I needed any further help. I’m very grateful for the care and support we received. I would absolutely recommend this place and will definitely remember it.”

“Absolutely loved my stay here! Staff are top notch with their service & kindness. Even though I chose a smaller room, bed was super comfy and bathroom was great with a roomy shower! Location is great, close to the central train station, within reasonable walking distance to a lot of big sites. This area of Monti is very chill and quiet with quick access to food and drink. While morning breakfast is very limited to mostly just pastries, you will be greeted each morning with a smile and an offer to make your espresso.”

“This is the place you want to stay when visiting Rome. It's a small hotel in downtown, but has everything you need and a great customer service. Cristina is the best hotel host we had in whole Italy and so far other cities in Europe. She's always kind and very helpful with anything you need, including a tourist inquiries. The room was amazing, it had a hot tube in it plus a complete decent size bathroom, everything was neat, In addition, it is located just a 5 minutes distance to the Metro (Subway) station Vittorio or 7 minutes to Termini Station where you can use to commute almost anywhere in Rome. We definitely recommend this place and will come back everytime we are in Rome.”
